The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

The Drive for Life program primarily supports young people aged between 16-25 who are overcoming adversity and need support to achieve their driver’s licence. A Mentors’ role is to accompany the Learner Driver during driving sessions to help them attain the number of supervised driving hours required for their logbook, providing constructive feedback and conveying the importance of road safety along the way.

Educational Mentors (Tutors) provide 1 on 1 educational assistance 1-2 hours a week to vulnerable children aged 6-16. Most of the children/young people referred to us are about 2 yrs behind their age in at least English & Maths. You can help us break a child out of a cycle of poor educational achievement. We are currently looking for a Reiki Teacher who can provide guidance to our clients using spiritual modalities and subject based knowledge. Our teachers work with a wide range of cliental with varying ages and presentations. Our teachers are expected to lead workshops online and in person (when required).
