About this opportunity
Would you like to work one on one with a migrant or refugee to help them with their language and cultural needs? Our volunteers help people to become more independent and to learn how to communicate in the English language.
To volunteer for the Adult Migrant English Program with Navitas you must register as a Navitas volunteer.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Must have a Working with Vulnerable People Card. Must have a good understanding of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and sensitivity towards diverse cultures. Must have a high degree of English language proficiency.
One hour per week
