Legacy Brisbane is reaching out for wonderful volunteers to help at our annual Canungra Combat Challenge (C3). The Challenge will be held at the Kokoda Barracks in Canungra on Saturday, 15 June 2024. The funds raised go towards supporting the families, widows/widowers and children of those who have served our country and have been injured or killed as a result of their service.

As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. The Emergency Relief Food Pantry rescues food and prepares food parcels for disadvantaged members of the local community. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the collection of food, and the packing and distribution of these food parcels on weekdays from 9am - 1pm. Help is also needed after those hours on some days to receive & unpack/store rescued food (e.g, 10am - 2pm, or 12pm - 4pm.) Some moderate to heavy lifting will be required, and drivers will need a clean driver's licence.
