The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. Modbury Hospital Guide Volunteers are based at the Hospital's main entrance and assist patients and visitors with directions to their destination. Guide Volunteers position suit someone who is interested in interacting with the public, able to deal with occasional stressful situations, and physically fit enough to stand and walk much of the shift. A Guide can be rostered Mon – Fri and shifts can vary from 4 hours to a full day. Training and induction are provided.

The Lyell McEwin Hospital serves a community of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Some people may find the hospital difficult to navigate finding the ward or service they need. Guides are often the first face a visitor sees when entering the hospital and have the important role of greeting patients and visitors as they arrive.

Volunteers in this role provide support and guidance to the visitors and staff of the Modbury Hospital Outpatients Department by greeting patients on arrival and directing patients to the required area.

This role is about helping people to keep moving, mobile and independent. With your help we can support older people move more.

A Driver and Delivery person is needed to support CareWorks' Community Programs. A Volunteer Driver is urgently needed to collect goods from local donation bins, and deliver them to the shops. Riding for the Disabled SA provides horse riding & related activities for people with a disability aged between three and ninety years! RDASA is seeking volunteers to assist with 'Session Support'.

Cleaner required for small sport group. Duties will include cleaning of the toilets, and mopping of the floor in the canteen and hall. The hall and sports club is used once a week. This right person will have the flexibility to undertake the cleaning around a time that works for them. We only require it ready for Sundays when the club is open.
