Science (STEM) Presenters

Education & Training Regular - more than 6 months Magill SA

About this opportunity

SciWorld is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to inspiring and engaging young South Australians with science, technology, engineering and mathematics with a diverse range of activities including scientific history and displays, STEM incursion, science outreach programs and events for school students and the general public.

SciWorld has a particular focus on bringing interactive science experiences to disadvantaged young people and communities, whether this disadvantage is of a geographical or socio-economic nature. We essentially concentrate on the years R - 7 for most of our school-based programs but have identified a growing need for programs relevant to high school students.

Our STEM volunteers present or assist with the delivery of SciWorld’s range of exciting programs. Other tasks include assisting with the development, documentation and delivery of new education programs, plus contributing towards staff training and the maintenance/housekeeping of STEM kits and equipment. Contact us to book into an information session to find out more.
