Animal Care Support Volunteers provide efficient & effective administrative support, as well as ensure customers experience exceeds expectations by delivering high quality service. Animal Care Volunteers assist with providing care, rehabilitation and enrichment to animals. Our animal care volunteers will interact with animals using positive reinforcement animal handling techniques, learning skills from our experienced team members. Whilst providing support and care to our animals, our volunteers will also positively engage with customers ensuring they receive an engaging and educational experience.

​Do you love wildlife, and would like to help, but cannot care for animals at home? Are you a good communicator and have good problem-solving skills? Are you available to answer wildlife rescue calls from home on set shifts? This SOWFI Wildlife Rescue phone team takes calls from members of the public who are concerned about a native bird or animal and helps find the quickest and best solution. A satisfying role for people who love wildlife, love to help and are good at problem-solving.

This is an important administrative role to support our Board Members. We are seeking expressions of interest from people with good time management, experienced in administrative roles and keen to support the leadership team of Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI) and our wildlife. This role could be 3-5 hours a week.

The secretary is responsible for the documentation and communication of the activities within the FAR Committee. The secretary is the primary administration officer of the Committee and provides the links between the Committee, members and outside agencies. Amongst the Secretary's tasks are to prepare agendas, prepare and distribute minutes, and manage both ingoing and outgoing communication.

Brainwave supports 1,400 children with brain illnesses and illnesses and their families across Australia to cope, adapt and thrive. As well as information and advice, therapy and equipment, we provide family activities to enable families to get out of their home and meet other families. Shows and events provide free tickets and we are seeking a volunteer to help us apply for these charity tickets to enable families supported by us to attend.

Telelink Connectors and admin support volunteers help support one of the longest running programs to assist people that are blind or low vision to live the life that they choose. The Telelink program provides special interest group discussion's for blind and low vision people all the way around Australia to interact with one another via phone with a volunteer facilitator. The connection volunteer is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule.
