Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. You don't need to attend the whole day or every day if you can't commit for the entire weekend and there will be vouchers for all volunteers to get something from the cafe and lunch provided. The brave solo refugee Mums who make SchoolKits for Congo also make beautiful buntings from bright African fabrics, and teach other Mums to do the same. We sell them in Australia and return the proceeds to the makers so that they can pay the school fees for their children to be educated. We are looking for stallholders who could add a product to their range, and for representatives who can show buntings to potential retailers and customers.

SchoolKits for Congo seek Student Advocates to invite their own school communities to engage in meaningful and rewarding global giving. Advocates will present the program to decision-makers, show them the positive impact that involvement can have on both givers and receivers, and connect them with the resources necessary to complete the first gift cycle. Advocates may also assist with local publicity for the event. Advocates may be current school students or recent graduates.
