St John's Phone Coordinators work as part of a rostered team. While on shift, Phone Coordinators are responsible for dispatching the local volunteer ambulance crew as required. Phone Coordinators do not take 000 calls, but are contacted by the central St John's Communications Team with relevant information for incidents.
St John is looking for local legends to support their regional communities as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. This role involves attending emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, as well as other duties as required. All training provided.

SES are called to assist in a variety of situations locally from helping the Ambulance Service to negotiate stairs to full scale searches for those missing in our wilder areas.

An Esperance Meals On Wheels (MOW) kitchen hand is needed to assist the MOW Supervisor to prepare food for deliveries. Meals are prepared Mon - Fri with volunteers committing to one morning per week as part of a set roster, however volunteers can opt to do more than one morning if they would like. If you are looking to become part of a vital team within the community this is the position for you.
