About this opportunity
A MOW kitchen hand is needed for preparing food for deliveries. Meals are prepared daily with volunteers rostered on one morning a week, for 2-3 hours, with a start time of 8:30/9am.
This role involves assisting the cook with food preparation and serving prepared food either into the MOW containers or onto plates for the ARC clients. Additional duties may involve assisting with the washing up and cleaning of the kitchen, packing and marking of MOW containers, and any other duties directed by the cook.
*No heavy lifting.
Willingness to help, friendly, able to communicate with older persons and able to take instruction.
