Hollywood Hospital is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our Meal Delivery Team as a Food Friends Volunteers. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive their meals efficiently and with a smile.

Give back to your local community by providing a valuable food service, where profits generated are used to purchase equipment and resources for the Hospital, and develop friendships that can extend outside of the Hospital environment.

The group of volunteers, called 'The Friends' are like minded people of all ages and backgrounds who "like to help". Friendships are formed. To allay the apprehension of those who find strangeness and loneliness in their new hospital surroundings, the volunteers visit inpatients, escort new patients and visitors to appointments, provide comfort, always with a kind word or gesture and good cheer.
