We need enthusiastic individuals committed to delivering outstanding customer service, organising merchandise, and handling tasks such as stock unpacking, pricing, and preparing items for sale. When volunteering with us, you are able to get involved with all the behind the scenes processes, involved in running the Save the Children Op Shops and be involed with the community through engaging with the customers. We have a wonderful team of like minded people. Provide a safe and stable living environment for a child living in out of home care for a short period of time or at least one weekend a month as a minimum

Volunteers with the Supported Playgroup offer their time, enthusiasm and encouragement to support the children and families attending the playgroup. They assist with set up, morning tea and activities.

Volunteer Home Visiting aims to empower families and enhance their social inclusion through building their confidence and connection to their community with the support and companionship of a volunteer. Families are based across the Gold Coast and matching is based on volunteers' location and family/carers interests, availability and experience and the goals identified by the family. A Volunteer is matched to provide support one visit per week for 2 hours, over a minimum 6-month period.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. We are looking for a team of amazing volunteers to assist with the set-up/down and running of this exciting event in the Inala community! We would love for you to be part of the event.

The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

The Maternal & Child Health Greythorn playgroup are seeking a volunteer to assist with a Chinese playgroup which is held on Wednesday mornings at Greythorn Maternal Child & Health. This will suit a Mandarin Speaker but non-Mandarin speakers may also apply.
