Volunteering in this role will enable more families of Kids First to access our therapeutic services safely and affordably, and in a supportive and comfortable environment. Lots of training and support will be offered in this important NEW volunteer program!

The Social Connection Volunteer will support people who feel isolated in building social connections within the local community.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.

The Nappy Collective supports vulnerable people in our community by redistributing much needed nappies to families in need. Our flexible volunteer program allows you the opportunity to give back to the community, without a weekly commitment. Make a real impact in your community to families in need.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. Our brand-new garden of our First Steps Count Community Centre needs someone who gives it TLC. It is about planting, growing, weeding and back to nature. There is no mowing or heavy work involved. The focus of our Centre is children & their families, therefore the gardener will also have to like an environment with children.
