headspace Fraser Coast is currently seeking Youth Advisory Committee members who are volunteers aged 12-25 for their Marybourough and Hervey Bay locations. The group represents each state and territory and work with headspace to ensure young people's voices and opinions remain front and centre.

Assist and be part of a team to support a small group of children 8 - 12 years of age with their homework once weekly on Tuesdays after school from 3.30 - 5.00 pm. This is more a support than a tutoring role; therefore, no experience or level of education is required. The sessions will always close with a fun activity for the children. As an Operating Theatre Recovery volunteer, you will work closely with staff to support the post-anaesthetic care of patients by providing comfort, as well as reconnecting and regulating caregiver visits. Volunteers also support the Queensland Children’s Hospital Recovery staff by answering the phones and maintaining comfort supplies.
