for Bradman Foundation - Sport
We have a range of exciting artefacts that have been recently donated and need to be photographed and uploaded to our museum collection. If you have your own photography equipment and are interested in supporting this project, please get in touch.
We are excited to be expanding the Sir Donald Bradman research library collection with a donation of a significant personal collection in 2024. We are looking for someone to assist with the organisation and cataloguing of this new collection. We are also looking for assistance with the establishment of research library loan partnerships and processes within our broader library network and research librarian services on an ad-hoc basis.
We are embarking on the digitisation of a large historical collection of photographs into the museum collection. This will involve organising, scanning and saving photographs from the archives, and carefully returning to archives. Get in touch if you would like to have a rare glimpse into history and a hand in making these memorial snapshots accessible to an international audience. This could be an ongoing opportunity.

Volunteers will help with ensuring that the BVHS Collection is managed and conserved in accordance with National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries. The aim is to maintain the physical & electronic collection registers of Photographs and Objects within the museum and the machinery shed. We are gifted many items which need to be recorded so that they can be readily accessible when enquiries are made and when displays/exhibitions are being planned.
