About this opportunity

Key duties

  • support the curatorial team to digitise historical photograph collections
  • organise photography collections
  • help with the development of smaller collections/series
  • scan and save digitised files (training on the scanner provided)
  • safely re-store archive collection

Skills/experience

  • familiarity with using a computer and scanner/photocopier desirable
  • working with museum/gallery collections desirable
  • attention to detail is a must

Time Required

We'd love to hear from you if you can provide a day or more as a one-off, or few hours of assistance per fortnight. Commitment is flexible around your needs. A minimum commitment of 3 months is preferred; however, we are also accepting volunteers who can volunteer on a one-off basis (e.g. to help with the digitisation of a sub-collection or part of a larger collection).

Training
