The Volunteer Reading Helper assists children in practicing reading in the classroom at local schools. Just one hour a week can improve children's reading skills enormously. The Family Drug Helpline provides information, support and referrals to people who have someone in their life using alcohol or other drugs. The helpline is staffed by volunteers. THIS IS A PEER SUPORT ROLE, filled by people who have personal experience of being impacted by someone’s substance use. This lived experience is the key selection criteria.

Watsonia Heights Primary School is seeking volunteers who can assist the school's Librarian with all aspects of the day to day running of the library. You will have a keen interest in children’s literature and be available during the school term in school hours. Experience with library systems and organisation such as cataloguing is desired but not essential.
