We're looking for Volunteers who want to make a difference to people in the community, who enjoy great conversations and sharing their skills and personality! Community programs include Cooking, Walking, Art, Drumming, Youth and Gardening Groups.

The role is supporting parents, grandparents, and significant others in a child's life to navigate the Child Safety system. FIN Townsville offers free independent support to all families involved in Child Safety to ensure the safety of children is paramount, and families are appropriately supported. Mernda Repair Café will be the first community Repair Program for the community of Whittlesea hosted at the Mernda Community House and outdoor community space. The position purpose is to document the Repair Cafe events. To capture the fun on day, the wins for the day and celebrate our volunteer Repairers, Event volunteers and the Whittlesea community as a whole. We need great video footage to help document our program’s journey, clips used for publicity on social media and reports.
