Kingston Toy Library is a wholly member owned toy library, serving the local community with over 2000 toys. We operate just like a book library but with toys. Volunteering with us will give you the opportunity to experience how a library service operates as you assist with all aspects of library operations. You will gain skills of value for the workplace, be a valued part of the team, while also having the experience of a community run service.

The Volunteer Reading Helper assists children in practicing reading in the classroom at local schools. Just one hour a week can improve children's reading skills enormously. Training provided, great flexibility, wonderful environment. Expanding to other areas soon, please inquire. Reading Friends Australia is registered for Volunteer Work with Centrelink.

Do you love to read? mecwacare is seeking a volunteer to assist with a Book Club/Reading Group and provide valued social support to our aged care residents in Shoreham.

We are looking for someone to help with our Toy Library borrowing sessions. Our volunteers help our borrowing sessions to run smoothly and help us keep our toys in good condition, and are only possible thanks to our wonderful volunteers! We require assistance with checking returned toys, re-shelving toys, and helping members find new toys to take home!
