The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency. The role will be to oversee the building of the new premises and manage the distribution of the sponsorship package to businesses within the region, and then follow up the prospective sponsors. A spreadsheet of all businesses approached will need to be maintained.
