About this opportunity
The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency.
Tasks could include setting up the relief centre to run efficiently, assisting in meeting, greeting and directing community members seeking refuge and assistance, organising food and drink for visitors and community members.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Shifts may be rostered in 4-6 hour time slots as required during any emergency.
