Volunteering in this role will enable more families of Kids First to access our therapeutic services safely and affordably, and in a supportive and comfortable environment. This role has been developed to support the Thriving Families Team - We are looking for a worker who can bring a positive energy to Thriving Families and who likes to be a part of a fun and enthusiastic team. Volunteers required Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.

We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.

Freedom Solutions delivers various services to our clients. Our Freedom Wheels program in particular focuses on creating customised bikes for individuals living with a disability. Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity. You will join a team of dedicated volunteers who provide companionship and a happy team environment. This is a very rewarding role, in a beautiful and peaceful setting. (C)
