A general volunteer to care for our gardening tools. Maintenance and stock control of all the varied gardening tools on our Inventory. In the first instance we need someone to care for our hand tools, forks and spades etc, but in addition someone to care for our power tools, lawn mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers etc.

Friends of the Ngoolyak is a group of environmental volunteers based at Piney Lakes Reserve, who study the lifecycle of flora, collect, process, and germinate seeds for planting in the Reserve. Do you have a passion for people and providing friendly customer service?

Your basic sewing machine skills, or willingness to learn, will be useful in this role sewing wildlife rescue pouches and basket liners. Only straight line sewing, and patterns are cut along straight lines. All equipment is provided. Pouches and liners are sewn to specific sizes and designs and are given to local wildlife carers as needed. Timing is flexible - between 8am and 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
