You do not need to have horse experience to volunteer at APRDA but you could pick up some horse experience by volunteering with us. We are seeking people to assist us with our horse based activities. A great opportunity to help a great cause and get some exercise. A level of fitness is essential as you can be required to stand and walk for up to 1 hour in lessons. Maintenance Workers are responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and premises as well as ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity.
