We are on the lookout for people with an interest in mathematical puzzles, games and craft who are seeking a community volunteer opportunity for the Meet Pi Maths Festival to be held on Saturday, 31 August 2024 at the Heidelberg Golf Clubhouse (Lower Plenty). The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
