    Check-In Operator volunteers use the Oxfam Trailwalker event database to process teams as they arrive and leave the checkpoint. Teams must check in and check out of each checkpoint as a safety measure so that the Event Control Centre can monitor their progress along the trail. Check-In Operator volunteers report to the Assistant Checkpoint Coordinator.
