POTH is seeking an energetic, well-connected and committed Director with extensive veterinary medicine and animal welfare experience to join its voluntary Board of Directors.

Our Port Macquarie Volunteer Branch have a huge impact on people and their pets in the local Port Macquarie community and are currently looking for a treasurer. This role will involve overseeing and controlling all incoming and outgoing funds for both the Port Macquarie RSPCA NSW Op Shop and branch.

Monthly management reporting, BAS preparation and prepare for annual audit. Will also become a part of the management committee when the treasurer steps down.

The Policy Writer is member of the SOWFI Governance and Policy Sub-Committee. The position works together with the Sub-Committee and the Board Secretary to support the preparation of both internal and public facing documents, including organisational policies, public facing position statements, responses to government inquiries, and other documents which advocate for the conservation, rescue and rehabilitation of native wildlife in line with SOWFI’s objectives.

This is an important administrative role to support our Board Members. We are seeking expressions of interest from people with good time management, experienced in administrative roles and keen to support the leadership team of Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI) and our wildlife. This role could be 3-5 hours a week.
