Volunteer Beach Ambassadors will roll out blue beach matting and assist participants to get to water. (C)

The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Southern Districts Baseball Club exists with the aim of promoting & furthering the game of baseball in the south of Adelaide...and they need your assistance! Would you like to assist with the upkeep of the baseball diamond? What about performing general handyman work around the premises? The Social group meets Monday and Thursday mornings. Drive your way into people's hard in this fun, important and active role. You will enable older clients who do not have transport to attend the groups for social connection, activities, morning tea and lunch. You will present a friendly and welcoming face to our clients and be supported by a paid staff member on the bus. There is minimal heavy lifting for this role and maximum positive contact with staff and clients.

Motivated people are invited to make an Expression of Interest in volunteering for the 2024/2025 season with Team Connect WA. Collaborating with public schools in the Perth metro and Peel area, we establish teams of girls to play a season of community cricket between September and March each yearly.
