Recreation Regular - more than 6 months Anula NT

About this opportunity

Are you looking to meet new people, and do you want to take an active role in helping Territorians to improve their physical health and mental wellbeing?

Walk Organisers need no prior experience and will receive full training and support from the Heart Foundation.

Heart Foundation Walking is Australia’s largest FREE walking network. It is a social, fun and easy way for people to walk and be active.

With more than one in four Australian adults doing very little or no exercise at all, Heart Foundation Walking is a great way to help people increase their physical activity.

Heart Foundation Walking is designed to help people enjoy regular physical activity. As well as the physical benefits, walking as part of a group can benefit your mental health too!

Over the past 25 years more than 100,000 Australians have participated in a Heart Foundation Walking group, with over 90% of participants staying active after six months of joining.

Walk Organisers come from all walks of life (no pun intended!) and all regions across the NT. It is a free, social and fun way to get healthy!
