Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!

The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

This local heritage organisation is looking for people to assist in various aspects of maintaining and servicing our fleet of heritage railway rolling stockk, as well as helping with upkeep of the depot. Do you like working outdoors? You'll be physically active and able to assist this heritage organisation to maintain their grounds (approximately 1 hectare) for the enjoyment of visitors. Tasks include mowing, mulching, trimming, weeding etc. Some gardening and grounds maintenance experience would be an advantage however, any interest in these fields would be appropriate. Main days of work are Mob and Wed. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.
