About this opportunity
Join this friendly and passionate team of volunteers, assisting with heritage railway rolling stock (rail motors) for operation on the national rail network. The role involves maintaining electrical systems within our Depot facilities. Our maintenance facilities are located in our Depot at Paterson.
Satisfaction in maintaining and operating a State-heritage listed fleet of vintage former NSW Government Railways railway rolling stock. The opportunity to participate in our main line tourist operations as a crew member. Participation in a friendly team dedicated to the preservation of the State’s railway history.
Appropriate trade or tertiary qualifications are a requirement for this position to meet the requirements of the National Rail Safety Regulator. Rail experience is not necessary, however, would be an advantage.

Main days of work are Monday and Wednesday. 4-6 hours – additional hours at the discretion of the volunteer.
