Liz loves music, having a cuppa and a chat and sometimes a short walk around the garden to get her daily dose of sunshine. Liz loves arts and crafts but doesn't get involved in activities as much as she would like as she is a little shy. Do you speak Italian - we would love to meet you! At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.

Volunteering is a rewarding experience for both the volunteer and our residents. Regular visits can help improve the quality of life for our residents while helping them to feel less isolated.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. We are looking for a team of amazing volunteers to assist with the set-up/down and running of this exciting event in the Inala community! We would love for you to be part of the event.

Share your love of music with our residents at Weekly Concerts and Special Events. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Horsley.

As you visit and spend time with the elderly residents in our Aged Care Home in Scone, you'll pamper people by providing a gentle hand massage or nail care, such as filing or nail polish (no cutting).

Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats around to residents who are living in care at our aged care home in Scone. You’ll bring joy to each of our residents every time you enter the room.
