The Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral is a landmark building of international importance. The story of this fabulous twentieth century cathedral has been published world-wide in a book listing 83 magnificent cathedrals from around the world. This beautiful cathedral is situated at 56 Cathedral Ave Geraldton (corner of Maitland St). It is open to the public from 7.00am until 5.30pm, 7 days a week, except Public Holidays when it's open from 9am.

This position will suit a person who's contented to work alone, who enjoys being outside in the fresh air and working in a peaceful environment. This role would also suit a person who has a love for nature and gardening. If you are someone who finds satisfaction in keeping everything looking nice, a way to keep fit and healthy, this is the role for you. Days and Times are flexible to suit the Volunteer!

ECOSS thrives on the wonderful input from our Volunteers. It would be very difficult for ECOSS to develop and progress the way we do without our Volunteers. Do you speak Italian - we would love to meet you! At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.

We invite you to become a 'Hospice in the Home' volunteer providing compassionate, in-home care to people who are dying, their families and carers in the Warrnambool, Camperdown, Moyne regions. "Being a trained volunteer for the Warrnambool and District Community Hospice has been a true privilege. To not only provide support for both the dying and their families, but also a personal journey of empathetic growth and gratitude to be able to give a little back to our community".

Needed, loving souls to help enrich the lives and create friendships with our Beautiful Residents, Fun activities such as Bingo , Word games, reading , going for walks , one on one chats, arts and crafts, exercises, singing or other ideas that could put a smile on their faces.
