Motivated people are invited to make an Expression of Interest in volunteering for the 2024/2025 season with Team Connect WA. Collaborating with public schools in the Perth metro and Peel area, we establish teams of girls to play a season of community cricket between September and March each yearly.

We are on the search for Creative Mentors to participate in our 2024 Program! You will have the opportunity to work with young individuals (aged 9 - 13) and assist them in building more confidence and self esteem, achieve goals and be a positive role model. Not to mention help them create an awesome artistic piece to be exhibited at the completion of the program!

While the primary role of the SES is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, it also provides crucial support and assistance to other emergency service organisations. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.

We are English learners who are eager to improve our English skills, much like how plants need water. If you are proficient in spoken English and are willing to teach online, we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Our primary focus is on conversational English. On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Its a wonderful celebration of able bodied people coming together with those with a disability.
