Whether you love to read the paper, sing, enjoy music or a tea/coffee, or chat, our residents would love to spend time with you. We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We love nothing more than hearing the beautiful Macedonian language from our volunteers & our residents.

We're looking for a kind, caring and supportive friend for one of our residents, Elizabeth*. Liz loves music, having a cuppa and a chat and sometimes a short walk around the garden to get her daily dose of sunshine. Liz loves arts and crafts but doesn't get involved in activities as much as she would like as she is a little shy. We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.
