Your help will allow us to find appropriate permanent homes for these cats. We have cats right now coming up for going into foster care. You'll need to sign a foster care agreement to proceed, with suitable identity. You cannot foster a cat for another rescue or foster care group at the same time.

Farm Animal Rescue is inviting applications for Open Day Volunteer.

We are seeking an animal care assistant to work for up to 7 hours on a regular basis providing the best of care to the sanctuary’s animals. You will work alongside our live-in animal care team. This includes, cleaning, prepping, feeding and basic health assessment. You can commit to volunteer once per week, per fortnight or per month.

Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.

Our Volunteer Branches support RSPCA NSW by being able to play a vital part in the rehoming process of animals in various locations in NSW. Being 100% volunteer run, our volunteer branches rely on foster care assistance to house their animals while they wait for adoption, as they have no permanent adoption facility
