Our Visitor Experience volunteers bring our 2024 flagship exhibition, Andrew Rogers: Where We Are, and the Museum's permanent galleries, to life. Our volunteers facilitate access to the exhibition, ensure the integrity of the objects on display and connect with our audiences to foster curiosity.

Geraldton Historical Society is looking for Museum Assistant Volunteers for the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage Museum! The museum houses an extensive collection of historical photos, research & reference material, as well as displays of Heritage lifestyle objects regarding the history of the region. A Museum Asst. would Meet and Greet visitors, guide them through the society's rooms, be able to maintain the library & the museum and open the cottage timely. On the job training will be provided.

The Museum is open Monday to Saturday, with two guides or hosts working together. Volunteers must be vaccinated.
