The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Home-Start is a parent support program that offers vital face-to-face and virtual support to new and vulnerable parents of children under the age of 5. Our next intake closes soon, enquire today. Activities include arts, crafts, bowling, laser tag and more. This rewarding opportunity would suit those studying community services, social work, psychology etc

Spectrum Space will run our Telethon Holidays Makers Program these July school holidays for children on the autism spectrum. Activities include art and craft, video games, sensory play, board games, cooking and more! We are in need of people to help out with the kids and the activities. Some volunteers have the young person stay at their place once a month. This also provides the young persons carer with some respite and support.
