Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!

Lagoon Creek Community Nursery is looking for a Nursery Hand to assist in the propagation and care of local indigenous plant species. We are a not-for-profit charity and our work focuses on growing native plants for land and habitat restoration projects and community backyard biodiversity.

Wetlands are a powerful ally in tackling climate change by capturing blue carbon, protecting our coasts from wild weather events, and cleaning our water. They’re also vital to tackling the decline in biodiversity as well. Unfortunately, only 5% of Australia’s Wetlands remain – it’s time to invest in nature-based solutions to these challenges.
