Geraldton Historical Society is looking for Museum Assistant Volunteers for the Lighthouse Keepers Cottage Museum! The museum houses an extensive collection of historical photos, research & reference material, as well as displays of Heritage lifestyle objects regarding the history of the region. A Museum Asst. would Meet and Greet visitors, guide them through the society's rooms, be able to maintain the library & the museum and open the cottage timely. On the job training will be provided.

We are looking for people who are interested in local history (Broadmeadows and District). We operate a museum in Broadmeadows and are currently doing a full refurbishment. We need volunteers to help research and catalogue our current collection. This includes any new additions to the collection.

Gain valuable events experience and also be part of Woodfordia's burgeoning Folk Club that takes place the last Saturday of the month. You may even wish to sign up and try your hand at performing! This crew does all the behind the scenes work for Woodfordia's annual working bee, the Winter Warmer, for the Woodford Folk Festival Programme Launch and the two volunteer parties at the festival.

Volunteers are required to assist in the setting up and running of artists' exhibitions. Duties would include setting up of tables and chairs, distribution of food and drinks - RSA qualifications are desirable, making sales and some light cleaning. At the end of the Exhibition help with the removal and packaging of the artworks.

Volunteers are required to assist in the cafe and shop at the Great Stupa
