Would you like to be Christies Sailing Clubs next Rescue Boat Officer? Do you have recent and relevant experience in boat handling? If you said yes...then please read on... Races take place on Saturday afternoons at Christies Beach during the summer season (October to April) and four Sundays during the winter season (May to September). The rescue boat is launched at the O'Sullivan Beach Marina, and is manned by two qualified volunteers.

The Constable Care Safety School is working to address our children’s safety on the road and as pedestrians, come help children between 4 -12 years old learn vital safety skills. The Safety school is open Monday – Friday from 9am -1pm, where you assist children during this fun interactive program. Volunteering can be one day a week, a fortnight or month for a four-hour shift. Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.

Intermediate Emergency Care Provider Being the person or persons to respond to any medical/first aid needs off and on the track during a race meeting. These race meetings are held during the weekend. Some are two day events.

ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.
