The Vinnies Roadhouse provides a food engagement program from the Griffin Centre, Civic. Vinnies Roadhouse provides a safe and welcoming environment for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, and people experiencing social isolation. This role supports the daily operations of Vinnies Roadhouse by providing access to a hot evening meal, material aid, support, and referral services.

One hour, once a week is all it takes to be a friend to someone who is lonely. We are seeking a mature person who can offer conversation and maybe even a game of cards for a friendly gentleman who lives in an aged care home. Seeking a visitor for a friendly lady who who would like company for a chat over coffee. She enjoys word searches, AFL football, reading novels and music. This volunteer role offers flexibility and reward for both the volunteer and recipient of visits.

One hour, once a fortnight is all it takes to bring social connection and lift the spirits of another person.
