Aged Care Volunteer Visitor - GLEN WAVERLEY
About this opportunity
We are seeking a mature volunteer visitor for a friendly lady who who would like some company and a good chat. She enjoys word searches, AFL football, reading novels and music.
MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll, enjoy a cuppa and chat, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.
You need to be caring, reliable, sociable and be willing to commit to least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 6 to12 months. .

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Two referee checks conducted by the organisation.
Weekly preferred or at least once a fortnight, by mutual convenience, any day of the week/fortnight. The length of time for each connection to be determined by the visitor.
