The Volunteer Child-Safe Protection Officer ensures that all children are able to play & grow...being free from harassment, abuse (psychological, psychical, sexual, emotional and neglect). This is an essential role where you must be able to identify risks and implement guidelines and processes that need to be followed when/if a child protection issue arises. ACT Wildlife rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned native animals to return them to the wild. Our interface with the public is our 24/7 phone. The day is broken into several shifts and you would be required to have our phone diverted to yours for a shift a week, a fortnight or month, depending on your availability. You will be working from home and have access to our online database to record calls.
