Community Nursery Assistants support the propagation of local provenance native plants for re-vegetation of the local environment within the City of Greater Geraldton. Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation. The small group of active volunteers is currently recruiting new members to build capacity for more landcare projects and to fill committee roles, particularly for the position of Secretary.
