Gardening Support
About this opportunity
This volunteer role would see you engage our residents in conversations whilst helping to maintain our lovely gardens through tasks such as:
- maintaining garden beds
- pruning
- weeding
- watering
- raking
- general garden tidying
- implementing small projects based on resident interests.
On occasions where no residents elect to engage in gardening activities, volunteers may undertake these gardening tasks solo.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Volunteer gardeners are required to be physically fit and must enjoy working outdoors, friendly and sociable with strong communication skills.
Days and times are flexible as activities can be scheduled based around volunteer availability and the existing activity calendar.
