We are seeking a CANTONESE speaking volunteer to visit a Malaysian gentleman in a Bundoora Aged Care Home. One hour, once a fortnight is all it takes to bring social connection and lift the spirits of another person. We have a male client in Ormond who loves to chat about ideas, books, music and national and international affairs. Our Client is well read and loves listening to music, and he would love to spend an hour a fortnight with a volunteer with whom he can chat over a coffee or go for a gentle walk. If you are able to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits (weekends are fine), and can easily visit Ormond (next to Caulfield), please express interest below!!
