We have a male client in Ormond who loves to chat about ideas, books, music and national and international affairs. Our Client is well read and loves listening to music, and he would love to spend an hour a fortnight with a volunteer with whom he can chat over a coffee or go for a gentle walk. We offer a popular weekly lunch with a three-course meal of soup, main and dessert, which changes weekly depending on ingredients and the occasion. We're looking for someone with kitchen experience to volunteer each Wednesday from 11am-2pm. The role involves food preparation and plating food. You'll be working with a small team of kitchen and dining volunteers and the program coordinator.

As a Games and Puzzle Volunteer, you will provide companionship and meaningful engagement for older people in care at Caulfield Residential Care Home. Spend time sitting alongside one another enjoying the challenge of completing a puzzle together, or perhaps playing simple card games, dominos or scrabble, depending on the ability of the residents we also have an indoor golf set on site.
