Key responsibilities We provide a home library service for community members who are unable to attend the library to select their own items. Home Library Service Couriers support this service by visiting clients in their homes to deliver and return bags of library items. Volunteers work as part of a team of staff and volunteers, and participate in activities under the direction and guidance of the local Volunteer Coordinator, or other nominated staff members. Would you like to help children read? Reading Together volunteers will be part of the local school community in the Derwent Valley, Cygnet, Dover & Huonville areas and in 2024 will expand to the Northern Suburbs of Hobart in Southern Tasmania. Working with identified children, the volunteer will assist the children to improve their literacy skills through reading together and creating a safe and supportive environment.

We are looking for Ambassadors in the North West and West Coast of Tasmania to deliver Strokesafe education to community groups in your local area and represent us at Stroke Foundation events.
