Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day! Volunteers collect children, bring them together as a program group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist people seeking asylum and refugees to be job ready. Finding employment can be intimidating and overwhelming, particularly for people who have limited English language skills and have never worked in Australia. One to one mentoring with resume and job search support can make all the difference.

Help seniors learn to use technology. You will be a member of a supportive team of volunteers, all seniors themselves, offering training either one to one or in small classes using our well-equipped premises at Castle Hill. Training manuals and administrative support are provided.

Community members come along on every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30 to 10:30 for Knitting. For volunteers we request to arrive at 9am for the table and refreshments set up and stay till 12pm. Its a 3 hour shift. At Karabi Wentworthville centre.
