Stall Assistant Volunteers to help run the Brisbane Tool Library Stall at the annual Green Heart Fair at Victoria Park, Herston. So you will chat with the passing festival goers about the Brisbane Tool Library. It's lots of fun explaining the Tool Library operations & it's very rewarding getting all the compliments & positive feedback. The general public are often intrigued and love the concept of a Tool Library!

Volunteers are requested to assist with the delivery of State Library of Queensland's Winter Holiday Program - free activities and ticketed workshops for children aged 0 to 12 years to entertain and inspire creativity. 

Are you interested in welcoming visitors to the beautiful Botanic Gardens and providing directions and information. The Centre is open each day from 10 am - 2 pm. Visitors also purchase plants and merchandise and attend events in the Gardens. You will be required to undertake retail sales of merchandise and learn point of sale duties. Join the dedicated team and meet new friends. The Centre is open 7 days. Day/s can be negotiated. (C)

Retail Assistants play a key role in helping with sales, merchandising and quality control. They support the Store Manager in ensuring quality customer service on the shop floor, assisting in processing donations as well as maintaining the general appearance and upkeep of the store area. Together, Retail Assistants play a key role in fostering a culture of inclusiveness and community spirit amongst the team, which in turn enhances the customer experience in the store.
